Ecofarm SA is a Greek manufacturing company that supplies products to pharmacies, based in Athens, with a cutting edge production plant in Antirrio, Aitoloakarnania. Since 1997, we have been active in the field of pharmaceuticals, laboratory products and healthcare, and are pioneers in the production of alcoholic and oxidizing solutions, oils, and nail polish remover with high standards of quality and packaging.
Our goal is the creation and distribution of parapharmaceuticals, antiseptics, cosmetics and medical devices in the delicate sector of healthcare, focused mainly on effectiveness and safety to provide superior services to the Greek consumer. For this reason, we continuously invest in the research and development of innovative products, continuing our dynamic presence in the Greek market. In 2015, we invested in a privately owned production plant, expanding our production capacity and focusing on high quality from latest generation automated mechanical production, bottling, and packaging equipment.
At the same time, were are active both in the field of the pharmacy as well as the modern laboratory with upgraded solutions that meet the needs of small and large commercial spaces with a comprehensive range of professional equipment such as scales, blood pressure monitors, refrigerators, and laboratory furniture/equipment. Since 2005, we are the exclusive Greek representative of large foreign companies with laboratory and pharmacy equipment: ΑΤΑΕΝΑ, ALBRIGI LUIGI, LA TECNOMEDICA, PVS, PHARMA BAG, PIARDI.
The continuous evolution of Ecofarm is a result of a series of investments with an emphasis on research and development of innovative products and services as well as the continuing education and growth of staff, which is our most valuable asset. The experience of company executives and the reliability of its products make Ecofarm a modern, dynamic company constantly growing and evolving in accordance with the needs of the market.
Quality Policy
The main objective of the Quality Policy, which is constantly reviewed so as to be continuously suitable for their purposes and objectives set by the company ECOFARM SA, with the ultimate aim of continuous improvement, is to offer quality products/services with the best possible service provided to customers in order to achieve their maximum satisfaction.
More specifically, the Policy of ECOFARM S.A aims:
• To continuously improve the quality of services provided and of its procedures
• To respond immediately to any customer issues and to give serious consideration to any complaints or comments from clients so that these constitute the axis for improvement of company functions related to Quality.
• To monitor developments in the industry so as to offer continuously upgraded products
• To offer services that fully comply with the specified requirements, as determined through our relationships with clients, while providing a good financial result in the company itself
• To always comply with the applicable legislation and standards relating to Quality of service/products provided by the company ECOFARM SA
• To maintain close cooperation with suppliers and foreign companies with an aim of continuously improving the Quality of our services. As part of this effort, we ensure the continuous improvement of communication and cooperation with suppliers
• To encourage employees to actively and creatively participate in order to continuously improve Quality and to assist them in their personal growth through education and motivation. Also, to encourage improved communication, a team spirit, and productive cooperation between the various departments of the company.
To achieve these objectives, ECOFARM SA has established and applies a Quality Management System according to ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 13485: 2016, MD DY8/1348-1304 as well as for compliance of the production process with the ISO 22716: 2007 (GMP) system, and we are committed to:
- Reviewing and continuously improving it, setting objectives related to quality which we periodically evaluate.
- Providing the necessary human, material, and financial resources for the effective and efficient implementation of the quality system.
- Investing in staff education and training on matters pertaining to them and their associates.
- Continually updating company staff and associates and transmitting to them the policy and goals of ECOFARM SA related to quality.
- Establishing criteria for evaluation of the critical process parameters in order to meet objective goals and quality targets.
The CEO is responsible for the overall operation of the ECOFARM SA QMS in accordance with ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 13485: 2016, MD DY8/1348-1304, and for compliance of the production process with the ISO 22716: 2007 (GMP) system, who determines the Policy and sets Quality objectives.
